Fiona is a women’s health physiotherapist since 2008 and worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in a large maternity hospital for seven years. She has moved back to her native Co. Kerry and now works in private practice in Kerry Physiotherapy in Killarney, focusing on pregnancy, the postnatal period and right through to menopause.

She runs the online postnatal classes with the Bump Room and leads education webinars on all aspects of postnatal health for women and health professionals.

Fiona completed a post graduate certificate through the University of Bradford: Continence for Physiotherapists and in 2012  she completed a Masters through University College Cork. Her research focused on obstetric anal sphincter injuries.

Fiona is a busy mum trying to find the balance between raising two beautiful girls, working and keeping herself strong and healthy. She realises how truly exhausting and challenging it is to feel fit and strong after having a baby and wants to support women to be able to do it because it’s so important.
